Redbridge lost the Play Off Final after losing 5-4 in a dramatic penalty shoot out which saw Tony Tucker save the final Canvey Island penalty only for the referee to award a retake after the Redbridge goalkeeper was adjuged to of moved before the whistle was taken. 120 minutes of football could not seperate the two sides after Leon Antoine gave the home side a 1-0 half time lead only for Canvey to hit back through Colin Wall with 9 minutes remaining. Canvey went into extra time with 10 men after goalscorer Wall was sent off for picking up 2 yellow cards but it will be them going into the Ryman Premier League next season along with Dartford. A much changed Redbridge side lost 2-0 today at Brentwood on the final day of the season although we now know that our opponents in the Play Off Semi Finals will be Ware who finished 4th. The match will take place this coming Tuesday evening , 7.45pm Kick Off. A draw would of been enough to guarantee 2nd place after AFC Sudbury lost at home to Potters Bar.
