Uniting Friends is a social inclusion project for adults with learning difficulties living in the London Borough of Redbridge and surrounding boroughs.
In January 2011 due to building works at their Ilford offices required a base which they could use for their day to day activities and decided to use the club house at the Oakside Stadium. Their vision is for a world which recognises values and celebrates the lives and equal participation of people with a learning disability in society.
In April 2013 we donated the sum of £600 to Uniting Friends as part of the money we received from the FA community shield scheme after we reached the 2nd round of the FA Cup in 2010/11.
