Redbridge made it 5 out of 5 with a 3-1 victory at a pleasant Stotfold in a competitive game.
With Redbridge having both the effective Anton Agdomar, Alex Read and the reliable Steve Goodback in the ranks, they gave the home side difficult moments in the first 10 minutes with good efforts.
Redbridge took the lead on 25 when a ball down the right was picked up by Read, with everyone expecting a cross, he smashed the ball into the roof of the net. On 56 it was 2. The excellent Matt Gillingham crossed, found West who only shot but only found Read who tapped home for his second. Redbridge's final goal came on 69 Bobby Port sent a long ball forward, found Donovan Wilson who cut inside and shot into the bottom corner. With 10 minutes remaining Stotfold pulled a goal back when Newcombe in the visitors goal dropped the ball at the strikers feet for an easy goal. In the final seconds Matty West found himself 1 on 1 only to chip over.
Redbridge will be pleased only to concede their first goal in the last 3 games.
