Redbridge entertained FC Romania who came into the game still unbeaten whilst the home side had lost their last four games in all competitions and were looking to get back on track.

It was indeed the Motormen who opened the scoring when a long pass upfield found Brian Moses who used his strength to hold off his marker and although he fell to the ground was still able to make contact with the ball and proceeded to poked the ball past Razvan Negrila into the back of the net.

The first effort for the away side came through the lively Florin Pop who shot from distance but the ball was always rising.

Within a couple of minutes however they were back on level terms , a poor defensive clearance was ceased upon by Pop who beat his man before hammering the ball past Lewis Greene in goal.

The away side were passing the ball around with confidence keeping the lion share of possession but it was Redbridge with the next opportunity which came the way of Jacob Dingli who held off his man before getting in a strong left footed shot which the keeper did well to punch away.

Redbridge goal keeper Lewis Greene was then called upon to make two important saves firstly from Toby Cleaver before following it up to turn away an effort from Pop as he kept his side from going behind.

Redbridge ended the half the stronger and Lindisipho Mtyanda should have done better after a good cross in wide from Joe Gent.

FC Romania had a great chance to score right at the start of thew 2nd period as Cleaver got himself into the box skipping past Greene but wasted his time in getting a shot before the ball dropped to Pop who saw his effort cleared off the line.

Cleaver soon atoned for his spurned opportunity as he took control of a cross which dipped over Liam Thomas’s head before he smashed home leaving Greene clasping at thin air. The away side were on top and had a further good chance when Cleaver and Pop teamed up once again before the chance went begging.

The home side had a good chance as Dingli headed just over from a deep Courtney Homans cross before they levelled on 83minutes as Mtyanda waltzed in between two Romania defenders to squeeze the ball past Negrila.

The goal suddenly gave a new lease of life into the home side and as they powered forward looking for a winner, first Dingli hit the bar before a thunderous drive from Homans was inches over. Redbride were not to be denied and did score after Moses headed a cross back across goal into the past of substitute Bradley Gates who could not miss from close range to complete a superb turnaround and claim a vital 3 points.
