Redbridge claimed their first win of the season after a seven goal thriller at Oakside on Tuesday night.
The home side took the lead just 9 minutes in, Nougher’s corner wasn’t dealt with by the Burnham defence and Adam Scott took full advantage smashing in to open the scoring.
Just ten minutes later Redbridge doubled their lead when Daniel Charge grabbed his second of the campaign, heading in from Nougher’s free kick.
Just a couple of minutes later the visitors got themselves back into the game, Keeper Parker bought down Menga and Burgess reduced the deficit.
From then on till the interval it was all Redbridge, firstly Chambers had his shot saved at the near post, then Green pulled of a great stop to deny Joe Gent with Scott shockingly heading over from the rebound.
Somehow Burnham survived and kept the score 2-1.
On 54 minutes the Motormen made it 3-1, man of the match Nougher beat his man and from fully 25 yards produced a stunning chip, a real moment of quality from the midfielder.
From the kick off the hosts switched off and allowed the Ramblers back into the game, Burgess was allowed to steal his second of the evening after his long range shot was thumbed by Parker and looped in.
On 64 minutes, a fine piece of football was rewarded, Gent and Patrick Damali combined well down the right, with Damali eventually coolly slotting away to once again give Redbridge a 2 goal lead.
The away side had front man Menga sent off late on and despite Aubynn smashing home minutes from time to make it 4-3 the men from the Oakside deservedly collected their first three points of the season.
