Great Wakering comfortably earned the three points with goals coming from Lewis Sparrow, Dan Trenkel and a stunner from Jay Nash. whilst Gavin Cockman was Redbridge’s goal scorer.
The visitors took the lead inside five minutes, Sparrow’s penalty was saved but he smashed in the rebound to give his side a first half advantage.
Redbridge should have been level just minutes later but Adam Seal superbly denied Chinedu McKenzie after superb work down the left from George Winn.
The chances continued to come and continued to be wasted by the home side. McKenzie again the man responsible as he found himself unmarked at the back post but blazed over.
Redbridge were level just after the break, Cockman headed home after great work from McKenzie.
Great Wakering should have taken the lead just before they did as Billy Radley crashed a header against the bar when he really should have done better.
Wakering regained their lead on the hour mark, Trenkel did well to create space for himself before guiding his shot into the far corner.
On 78 minutes Redbridge wasted their last real chance to grab something from the game but Cockman headed straight at Seal.

The defeat leaves Redbridge deep in trouble and in the drop zone on goal difference with just two matches remaining.
