The Motormen hosted Gorleston on the final day of the 24/25 season , Redbridge looking to cement 11th place whilst Gorleston currently sitting 8th were on a superb unbeaten run stretching all the way back to late December.
Redbridge came quickly out the blocks attacking as Tendi Quamina got down the left flank putting over a cross looking for Fotsing Pitoula-Wabo but the ball just got away from the striker.
Great build up play then ended with a shot from Malachi Napa which was saved by the feet of Gorleston keeper Antoni Bort , the rebound falling to Pitoula-Wabo who was unable to find the net and his effort drifted across the goal mouth and out of play.
Matas Machovas in his first starting appearance then saw an effort deflected out for a corner before Napa once again was denied as Bort this time palmed out.
At this stage there was only one side in the game and the home side's early domination certainly deserved a goal.
Youngster Jimi Feeley was finding lots of joy down the right to run into and he was able to put over some lovely crosses into dangerous areas.
It was no surprise to see Redbridge take a deserved lead, Napa played a through pass splitting the Gorleston defence which found the run of Pitoula-Wabo and he rounded the goalkeeper before slotting into an empty net.
Quamina almost made it two when he ran onto a long ball beating Bort to the ball with his head but a defender was on hand to hack clear.
A rare venture forward from the away side as George Keys put over a wicked cross which just evaded his team mates and the post.
Into the second period and with the score only being 1-0 Gorleston were certainly still in the match and they shortly levelled proceedings. Redbridge failed to clear the danger and substitute Cameron Beazer was able to stab the ball home at the far post.
Redbridge immediately had the chance to score when from a deft free kick by Jack Chawner Quamina got in front of his marker with a diving headed which was well saved by Bort.
Gorleston however had some good chances of their own, Kieran Higgs was almost through one on one but for a well timed tackle by Joseph Elliott before
Keys let fly from range hitting the upright with Samuel Nwabuko in goal beaten.
Napa then forced a corner which was taken shortly and played into the path of substitute Doriano Tanzillo , with his first touch he superbly let fly giving Bort no chance and restored the home side advantage.
They however failed to hold on an again let Gorleston back in, a ball over the top was not dealt with by Feeley who up until then had not put a foot wrong and he allowed Joseph Marsden to get beyond him and fire past Nwabuko.
Quamina almost won it when he met rose to meet Tanzillo's cross but his powerful headed dropped just wide.
Full time was eventually called on the game and season leaving both sides with a share of the spoils.
