Redbridge returned to action just two days after losing at top of the table Cray and were looking to put an end to their current losing streak.
As in recent matches regardless of the final score they once again started positively. Daniel Jones saw his long effort fly over the bar whilst Joe Gent was looking lively out on the right wing.
Their good play almost saw them take the lead when a free kick taken by James Alexandrou beat Clarke Bogart in goal but rebounded back off the crossbar.
The home side however soon took the lead with their first real attack when a move between two ex Motormen resulted in a goal.
Kurt Smith beat his marker to whip in a cross which Emiel Aikin was on the end of and although his initial effort was saved by Jack Avery the ball rebounded to him where he had the simple task of tapping into the net.
Another ex Redbridge player Harry Cook almost made it two when he controlled well before he turned and shot just wide .
The last chance of the half fell to the away side when a good passing move ended in Bostry Bansende crossing to William Drake who saw his acrobatic volley miss the target.
Redbidge came out from the break hoping to avoid a repeat of recent second half performances.
Unfortunately however it was soon 2-0 when Aikin returned the favour for his goal when hr put over a lovely ball which Smith unmarked had the simple task of heading home.
Things soon got worse for the Motormen when Cook in which looked like an obvious offside position was allowed to run through and with just Avery to beat he rounded the keeper and slotted into the empty net.
Redbridge half time substitute Sam Williams making his debut argued the decision and obviously said something he shouldn't have as was then shown a straight red card.
With 30 mins remaining and down to ten men it was going to be even more difficult and they were further punished when Smith scored his second of the game beating the keeper who was well off his line.
The home side shortly were then also reduced to ten men when Connor Mead was shown a straight red after what appeared to be abusive language aimed towards the officials.
Further chances came and went for Tilbury but it was Redbridge who scored the final goal when Daniel Jones fired home.
