How the game needed a goal and it came on 71 minutes when a free kick was whipped in from the left side and Portway reacted quickest to get his foot to the ball and beat Sambridge at his near post.,

Redbridge managed to hold on throughout an additional 5 mins of injury time for the win which was only their first league win since the end of January and although they remain bottom it gives them a slight glimmer of hope in their bid to avoid the drop.
