Redbridge started brilliantly and were 2-0 up after 25 minutes. Matty Gillingham put the Motormen in the lead when he finished inside a scrambled penalty area after Glen Golby flicked on a Ellis Skidmore cross.
Maldon then fell further behind when Kevin McLeod scored a brilliant individual goal with a nice run and finish to seemingly put Redbridge in complete control.
Michael Deane then put Maldon back in the game going into half time with a finish inside the box. The hosts then equalised 15 minutes from time when Jack Haverson's header crept inside the post.
With both sides going for it in the final stages, Maldon grabbed the winner
when James Abbott curling 25-yard shot found it's way into the net to cap a dissapointing game for the Motormen.
