In an evenly matched first-half, Redbridge had the best of the chances. Good play from Hyun-Jin Lee down the right ended with Jonathan Glowacki sliding a ball into the Korean inside the box. Lee did well to hold of his marker before shooting the ball goalwards where McLeod did well to stretch the ball back across goal and somehow Ware survived.
Terry Dixon was making his debut for Ware after signing form Stevenage and the midfielder almost made an immediate impact for the visitors. Sadly for Dixon, after being put through his shot was saved well by Elliott Justham and a crucial chance was gone.
After that young Craig Arnott had two great chances to score for the hosts, both of which were missed. Doing well to run onto Kyle Fraser-Allen's pass, the striker only had time to deftly chip it towards goal.
Ware's Zimbabwean keeper Obey Murefu did well to get his gloves to the ball as it went past him. Somehow though the ball didn't bounce in and deftly hit the bar before being hacked clear by Ware's Rob Kemble on the goaline.
It was harsh on the youngster and another chance didn't go his way when Murefu denied the Colchester United loanee with a smart block after seemingly being rounded with the goal gaping.
Ware almost grabbed the lead a minute before half time when Sam Ruff drove forwards in midfield and struck a powerful shot from the edge of the box which Justham did well to save.
After the break, the visitors started the brighter but for all their pressure Redbridge's defence was looking good. So with that in mind, it was hugley frustrating when Ware took the lead as a result of a mistake in Redbridge's midfield.
Shane Stamp on for Arnott, aimed for an ambitious cross field pass to the right of midfield where Lee was open in space. Ware's Ruff intercepted the ball and fed in Luke Marshall who calmy ran in on goal before slotting the ball past Justham for a niceley taken goal.
Redbridge though were not to be denied and with with two minutes to go, they grabbed an equaliser, thanks to a lucky break given to them by the officials. Elie Kayemebe on as a sub, was tussling with his marker Chris Sargent running towards goal.
Although it looked like Sargent headed the ball back to his keeper, the linesman on the far side flagged that the centreback had fouled Kayemebe in doing so and Sargent was given a booking as a result.
From the freekick yards outside the box, McLeod stepped up and with the aid of a deflection that took the ball past Murefu, scored to earn the Motormen a share of the points.
It was McLeod's 10th goal of the season and one that probably on the day was just derserved for not only the man himself, but the team who derserved something from the game itself.
Redbridge: Elliott Justham, Glen Golby, Tom Stephen, Jonathan Glowacki, Nathan Fletcher, Sean Crossley, Julian Ashby (Elie Kayemebe 77), Hyun-Jin Lee, Craig Arnott (Shane Stamp 71), Kevin McLeod, Kyle Fraser-Allen.
