Redbridge took the lead thanks to a fine individual goal from Vinnie Durrant on 16 minutes but failed to double the lead. Chatham hit back just before half-time through Jason Barton.

In a tight second-half, Redbridge had to see out the final 20 minutes with 10 men after Matt Turpin was sent off. They will now aim for maximum points at the weekend against Brentwood Town.
